तु जो रुठे तो लगता है
जिदंगी वीरान हो गई,
तेरे संग रहने से
मेरी दुनिया आबाद हो गई
तेरे मुझमें यूँ मिल जाने से
कुछ यूँ शोर हुआ,
कि मेरी सारी हस्ती तेरी गुलाम हो गई
सुखी थी मेरे दिल की जमीं
जो तु रुठने लगा तो,
बिन बादल आसुओं की बरसात हो गई
जो तु रुठ गया
ठहर गए लफ्ज़ जुबां पर ही,
और फिर सारी कायनात में रात हो गई
तु जो रुठे तो लगता है
जिदंगी वीरान हो गई,

Tere sang rhne se
Meri duniya aabad ho gai
Tere mujhme mil jaane se
Kuchh yu shor hua
Ki meri saari hasti teri gulaam ho gai
Sukhi thi mere dil ki jami
Jo tu ruthne lga to,
bin badal aansuon ki barsaat ho gai
Jo tu ruth gya
Thahar gae lafz juba par hee
Or fir saari kaaynat me raat ho gai
Tu ruthe to lgta hai
